National Assembly evacuated over bomb scare

An immediate evacuation of members of the National Assembly has been ordered by Nigerian authorities on Tuesday after huge blast which killed at scores and injured many others at a car station near the capital, Abuja.Lawmakers and other staffers have been asked by security agents to leave the complex located in central Abuja after reports that an explosive material had been planted in the building. The claims were not immediately confirmed.Nyanya, the scene of Monday's bombing is a short distance from the National Assembly located within the Three Arms Zone, Nigeria's most fortified district.
